📤 Uploading & Managing Files
Guide on how to upload images, logos, and gameplay screenshots to the wiki.
🚀 How to Upload a File
1. Go to the left sidebar menu under **Tools** and click on **Upload file**. 2. Click Browse... to select the image file from your computer. 3. Set a clear **Destination filename** (for example: Fire_Engine_01.png). 4. Add a short summary or description if needed. 5. Click the **Upload file** button at the bottom.
📋 Supported File Formats
You can upload files in the following standard formats:
- .png (Recommended for icons, logos, and crisp screenshots)
- .jpg / .jpeg (Recommended for photo-realistic renders)
- .gif (For short animations)
- .svg (For vector graphics)
⚠️ Best Practices
- **Descriptive Names**: Avoid uploading generic filenames like image123.png or screenshot.jpg. Use precise names such as Engine_Truck_Dashboard.png.
- **Copyright**: Make sure uploaded media is safe to use and fits the wiki's content guidelines.
- **Replacing Files**: If you need to update an image, go to the image page and click **Upload a new version of this file**.
